SPUP’s Culinary (Food and Kitchen) Laboratory for the Hospitality Management and Tourism Management (HM-TM) Programs was inaugurated on October 29, 2022. Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President), Sr. Lirio Gavan, SPC (Vice President for Finance), Dr. Charito Guillermo (Dean, SBAHM), and Dr. Elaine Avila (Program Coordinator, HM-TM Programs) led the dedication of the new learning facility, while Fr. Severino Bariaun presided the rite of blessing.
Located at the Global Center (Sacred Heart of Jesus Training Center), the Culinary Laboratory houses state-of-the-art facilities, modern equipment, and spacious learning area where HM-TM students are taught, execute, and perform culinary arts and related activities such as catering, baking, and bartending. The facility also includes a library and discussion rooms.
The event was graced by the SPUP-SPC Community of Sisters, administrators, SBAHM faculty and students.
