St. Paul University Philippines is honored in the ASEAN Philippine Higher Education Internationalization Champions of Nation-building and Sustainability Awards (ASEAN ICONS) 2022. SPUP is recognized as an exemplary Philippine Higher Education Institution (HEI) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), as it placed in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 and in the World Universities with Real Impact 2022. The said award is bestowed to SPUP for championing the global reputation of the Philippines through its commendable performance in international rankings and ratings, trailblazing efforts to advance internationalization, and innovative initiatives to contribute to the country’s economic and societal goals.
The awarding ceremonies was spearheaded by the Commission on Higher – International Affairs Staff, in commemoration of the 55th Founding Anniversary of the ASEAN on August 26, 2022 in Hilton Manila, Metro Manila. Dr. Jeremy Godofredo C. Morales (Director of Internationalization) received the award on behalf of SPUP.
