Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President) served as one of the resource speakers in the international conference on “Bring Inner Greatness Out: Personal Brand” on January 15, 2022. She discussed “Surviving During the Pandemic” in the context of St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP). Sr. Merceditas highlighted that it is great to surmount the hardship of the pandemic with PRAISE: P – positive disposition and mindset that will help us to adjust to the disruptions, manage stress, and take care of our physical and mental health and well-being, R – resilient attitude and skills to easily adapt to changes, cope with adverse situations, and bounce back amid setbacks, A – agile approach in tasks and responsibilities that deliver efficient, effective, prompt, value-added and high impact results and services, I – integral and transformative approach anchored on quality, values, technology, and sustainability, S – strategic management and leadership founded on noble vision-mission, care for people and environment, responsiveness to societal needs, and support for national and global peace and unity, and, E – empathy and compassion for all, especially towards those affected by the global pandemic. She ended with the encouragement to move forward with FAITH and HOPE to create a better future.
