In celebration of the Christmas season, St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP), through its Community Development Center (CDC), teamed up with ABS CBN Sagip Kapamilya Foundation, conducted a Handog Pamasko Outreach to families at Barangay Estefania and Barangay Magogod of Amulung, Cagayan on December 16, 2021. The said undertaking was the first episode of the gift giving activity to SPUP’s partner communities.

The Handog Pamasko team, composed of SPUP-CDC staff, members of the Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development (PVCD-UNESCO) Club, and Project Convenors from the ABS CBN Sagip Kamilya Foundation, prepared a total of 1000 gift bags that contains Noche Buena grocery hauls, hygiene kits, clothes, and toys. Concurrently, the group already propelled the first 400 gift bags to the recipients of Barangay Estefania and Barangay Magogod of Amulung East Cagayan – having 200 families on each barangay respectively.The distribution of the Pamasko gift bags was co-facilitated by the Barangay Captain of Barangay Estefania and Volunteers of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Magogood to ensure the organization of the distribution and adherence to minimum health protocols.

The remaining 600 gift bags are subjected to the second and third outreach episodes of SPUP and ABS CBN Handog Pamasko, which are already scheduled on the 20th and 21st of December 2021.
