December 10-12, 2021 – The National Coordinating Body of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines (NCBUCP) honored outstanding members of St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) in the International Assembly of Youth for UNESCO (Y4U) 2021. The three-day virtual convergence featured various activities along the theme: “Youth for UNESCO in the New Normal and Beyond: Ignite. Engage. Empower.”

Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales (Direcror, International Relations), was named “Outstanding UNESCO Club Educator of the Philippines” for his advocacies relevant to the values and principles of UNESCO in advancing cultural diversity, inclusive education, and social transformation.

Ms. Mardilyn Garcia (President, PVCD-UNESCO Club) was adjudged as the “Most Outstanding UNESCO Club Youth Leader of the Philippines” in recognition of her achievements aligned with the ideals and thrusts of UNESCO in promoting community service and youth development.

The Paulinian Volunteers for Community Development (PVCD) – UNESCO Club was also declared as an “Outstanding UNESCO Club of the Philippines – Culture Category” for the organization’s endeavors while building coalitions across communities towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and in strengthening dialogue and trust between people and institutions at all levels.
