St. Paul University Philippines was chosen by Save the Children Philippines as its partner-institution in Northern Luzon. Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (President, SPUP) and Atty. Alberto Jesus Muyot (CEO, Save the Children Philippines) formally signed the partnership agreement on December 3, 2021. SPUP joined other seven humanitarian-oriented organizations from all over the country in the virtual ceremonies.

Save the Children Philippines, SPUP’s new partner organization, works to help children gain access to quality education and health services, support them in times of great need, and protect them from risks and harm.

SPUP’s Community Development Center will work together with Save the Children Philippines in developing policies, plan, and budgets to ensure that children in the provinces of Cagayan and Apayao, especially those living in poor communities, have access to quality basic services and have their rights protected.
