St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) and its Indonesian partner, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) shared their best practices on academic collaborations during the ASEAN Internationalization Circa 2021: The Philippine Experience bearing the theme “Stepping Up to the Challenges in the New Normal: Future-Proofing HEIs” on August 25, 2021.
Both Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales, (International Relations Director, SPUP), and Dr. Suhartini Ismail (from the Nursing Department, Faculty of Medicine of UNDIP) discussed the collaborative linkage activities between the two universities specifically on cross-cultural and transcultural nursing practices through immersions and internships of graduate students in Nursing in the two campuses before and during the pandemic. Both sharers also facilitated the workshop session intended for their segment of the conference making the participants identify their institutional strengths and opportunities towards internationalization.
The said activity is the first of a series of internationalization webinars organized by the International Affairs Staff of CHED and in line with the commission’s participation in the celebration of the 54th founding anniversary of ASEAN.
