Dr. Jeremy Godofredo C. Morales (Director, International Relations), participated in the 34th Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities on June 1-3, 2021 virtually hosted by the Open University of Sri Lanka.
This year’s conference showcased talks and research presentations on technological advancements in education, massive use of technology during the pandemic era and how lifelong learning is carried out through technology among others. All topics contributed to the realization of the conference theme “Opening Minds for a Sustainable Future: Re-orienting ODL to Surmount Challenges”.
During the General Body Meeting, 17 Finalists for the AAOU Meritorious Award were revealed. This included Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales along with 16 others coming from different Open Universities around the world. UPOU Chancellor, Dr. Mel Bandalaria bagged the award.
