May 29, 2021 – Mrs. Marie Krizya M. Calagui, MSHM and Mrs. Jennie Ann Canapi, MSHM of the School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM), qualified as grantees of the Sustainable and Innovative Knowledge Application for Tourism (SIKAT). The grant is a one-year training program sponsored by the Commission on Higher Education(CHED) which will be delivered by the University of Alicante, Spain in coordination and partnership with the Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas.
Mrs. Calagui, and Mrs. Canapi, Instructors in SPUP Tourism Program, will participate in the SIKAT project designed on improving and updating the curriculum needs of the Tourism sector. The endeavor will also tackle on topics that have emerged regarding the new challenges for local universities relevant to post-quarantine and pandemic scenarios.
