Dr. Mercita Pamittan and Ms. Jenie Ann Canapi, (Faculty Members, School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management) successfully passed the international certification examination administered by the Global Professional Advancement and the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Professional based in London, United Kingdom on February 24, 2021. They were conferred the title: Certified Hospitality Professional and Certified Tourism Professional, respectively. The global assessment is given to qualified Faculty and Industry practitioners in the hospitality and tourism to assess their competencies required by the industry.
Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations and Advocacies) was adjudged as the Best City Advisory Council Member for CY 2020 by the Regional Advisory Council of the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Region II. He was awarded for his commitment and support to the PNP’s initiatives and advocacy to champion transformation in the PNP through the Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law (PATROL) Plan 2030.The recognition was held on March 22, 2021. Dr. Lappay is currently serving as the Chairman of the PNP-Tuguegarao City Advisory Council.
