St. Paul University Philippines through Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (President, St. Paul University Philippines) and Mr. Allan Paulo Baquera (Faculty Member, School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences) presented SPUP’s educational innovations in EduTECH Philippines Virtual 2021. Held on March 24 – 25, 2020, the convergence brought together leading educators, edtech innovators, technology leaders from across the Philippines to present and discussed their innovative approaches to education. Through inspirational keynotes, live panel discussions, interaction, Q & A, and live virtual townhall meetings, pioneering edtech educators, leaders and innovators shared and discussed their best practices in fostering technological transformation in their respective educational endeavors.

Sister Merceditas shared SPUP’s educational innovation through the live panel discussion on the topic: “Mirroring the Authentic Campus Experiences Online.” Together with her in the panel were: Ricson Singson Que (Information Security Consultant, De La Salle – College of St. Benilde) and Sandeep Puri (Professor, Asian Institute of Management. The session was moderated by Dave Marcial (Director, Siliman Online University Learning).

Mr. Allan Paulo Baquera discussed SPUP’s innovative teaching and immersive learning practices on: “Interactive Technologies for Future Classrooms.” With the panel were: Julius Yves Battung (BSIT Program Coordinator, National University – Baliwag Campus), Rommel Deocaris (Professor, University of Asia and the Pacific) and Earl Louis Sempio (eLearning Specialist, UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.  Serving as the moderator of the discussion was, Joy Dy (OIC Dean, College of Computer Studies, Silliman University).
