After hurdling a series of online examination on November 6-7, 2020, three faculty members of the School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM) successfully passed the Certification Examination for Tourism and Hospitality by the Global Professional Advancement and the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Professional based in London, United Kingdom. The results of the certification examination were released on November 10, 2020.
Dr. Glen Cagurangan and Mrs. Elaine Avila were recognized as Certified Hospitality Professionals. The certification acknowledged their technical skills, leadership, and management relevant to hospitality industry.
Awarded as Certified Tourism Professional was Mrs. Marie Krizya Calagui. The certification recognized her competence in business management, industry functions and strategy development pertinent to tourism enterprise.
The global assessment is given to qualified Faculty and Industry practitioners in the hospitality and tourism sectors to assess their competencies required by the industry after the completion of an online learning program delivered by the Global Professional Advancement and the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Professional in the United Kingdom.
