February 14, 2020 – SPUP’s Hospitality Management students endeavored the Valentine’s Day as a learning experience in applying the principles of their course on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events Management (MICE).

Held at Al Fresco Restaurant, SPUP’s Simulation Restaurant for the Hospitality Management program, the event gathered several alumni, parents, employees and other stakeholders who came to experience the services prepared by the students for the activity.

The visitors were led to a gastronomic experience of Japanese, Mediterranean and Chinese cuisines prepared by the students enrolled in Culinary Arts. On the other hand, students in Events Management provided them with an utmost feeling of Paulinian hospitality as they attended to their needs. Decorations fit for the occasion and a live band added delight to the endeavor.

As the event served as the application of their learning in class, it also fostered in them the confidence for their on-the-job training in some of the finest and well-known hotels in the Philippines like Solaire, H20, and Resorts World. It was also an avenue for them to assess themselves individually and as a member of a team.
