December 18, 2019 – SPUP’s annual Paskuhan was also celebrated with the partner-communities of the University. In keeping with the festive mood of the season, each school organized a simple yet meaningful and fun-filled celebration of sharing and togetherness.

The School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) spent the day with the Indigenous People’s community in Bugatay, Penablanca, Cagayan; while, the School of Arts, Sciences and Teacher Education (SASTE) held their Christmas Caravan in Barangay Magalalag East, Enrile, Cagayan. The School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SNAHS) were in Bauan, Amulung, Cagayan. Prior to the Christmas activity with the women and children’s group, who were victims of the recent flooding in Maguirig, Solana, Cagayan, the Graduate School (GS), conducted a lecture on Disaster and Risk Preparedness.

The Family Council of SPUP Senior High School (SHS) Department spearheaded a medical and dental mission for the people of Roma Sur, Enrile, Cagayan; whereas, the School of Business, Accountancy and Hospitality Management (SBAHM), with the indigent families of their partner-community in Maguirig, Solana, Cagayan. The community of Balzain East, Tuguegarao City joined the Basic Education Unit (Grade School and Junior High School) family in their Paskuhan sa Pamayanan program. The said academic units opted to invite and bring the members of their partner-community to SPUP.
