St. Paul University Philippines hosted Mikrotik Academy Trainer’s Bootcamp on December 2-7, 2019. Faculty members and Computer Engineering students of the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE), staff of SPUP’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and guests from other universities and organizations participated in the said training. Engr. Roy L. Pamitalan of WIZMASTER MikroTik Training Center led the activity.

Dr. Marifel Grace C. Kummer, Dr. Maria Visitacion N. Gumabay, Engr. Joi Tatiana A. Cue, and Mr. Israel C. Palma successfully earned MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE), and MikroTik Certified User Management Engineer (MTCUME) certifications after completing the required training course and certification exams. They are now officially recognized by MikroTik as MikroTik Certified Academy Trainer.

The certification of the faculty members and staff qualified SPUP as a Mikrotik Academy in the Philippines. Being part of the Mikrotik Academy means that SPUP can offer Mikrotik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) course to interested students and professionals.
