St. Paul University Philippines hosted the FINEX-CIBI Finance Educators’ Training Program 2019 on November 14-15, 2019 at the Knowledge and Information Resource Network of the Learning Resource Center with the theme “Capital Markets, The Way Forward”. Accounting and Finance Educators from different Universities in the Region participated in the said training.
Aimed to provide updates to professors of finance and business courses on latest developments in the capital market, the two-day training Program included technical sessions on Good Governance in the Capital Market by Ma. Victoria C. Españo (Chairperson, FINEX Foundations, Inc.), Finding Value in Investing by Mr. Augusto M. Cosio, Jr. (President, MRC Allied Inc and Investment Advocate), Recent Developments in the Philippine Capital Markets and Capital Market Products: Securitization by Mr. Virgilio O. Chua (Managing Director and Co-Head – Investment Banking, SB Capital Investment Corporation), Capital Market Products and Fundaments and Technical analysis by Mr. Bernhard G. Tsai (Chief, Operating Officer, BDO Securities Corporation), and Bourse Game by Mr. Franklin Isaac (2004 FINEX President, President, Franklin Financial Consultancy).
The Finance Educators Training Program (FETP) is organized by the FINEX Research and Development Foundation, Inc., thru the Business Education Committee (BEC) and funded by CIBI FOUNDATION INC.
