Two hundred fifty-six (256) students from the Basic Education Unit (BEU) of SPUP joined in the United Nations (UN) Parade of Costumes sponsored by SM Tuguegarao on October 24, 2019. The event was participated in by five schools in Tuguegarao City – Power of Three Montessori, Montessori de Cagayan, Tuguegarao West Central School, My First Step and SPUP.
Sister Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President), Sister Ma. Lirio Gavan, SPC, (Local Superior), SPC Community of Sisters, school administrators, teachers, supportive parents, and students graced the occasion which bolstered the confidence of the contestants and performers to display their best.
The celebration culminated with SPUP’s victory in all the contested categories. The following awards are bagged by the school:
Champion (Best in National Costume)- Kent Harry Florida and Erin Danielle Ui
Best in National Costume (Teacher Category) – Mr. Clifford Tarun
1st Runner Up (Best in National Costume) – Mark Paul Angelo Tuddao and Breanna Valdez
2nd Runner Up (Best in National Costume) – Abraham Guillermo and Frances Usal
