Caritas Christi urget nos!
Aiming to strengthen the ties among the local foreign students, the 4th run of the International Students’ Integration Program (ISIP) assembled the international Paulinian students coming from 11 countries in their national attires last April 27, 2019 at the Students’ Center.
In observance of the Earth month and as the legacy of this year's international integration activity of SPUP, the program commenced with a tree planting activity facilitated by Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations and Advocacies). Atty. Lily Freida Milla, (CHED, OIC Deputy Executive Director and Director of the International Affairs) Sister Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President), Mr. Daniel Silva Ferreira Mau Bere (Secretary-General, International Students Organization) and Mr. Yuoi Jamito (President, Paulinian Student Government Council) planted one coconut tree each.
The program also included the induction ceremonies of the new officers of the International Students Organization, with Mr. Daniel Silva Ferreira Mau Bere as the elected Secretary-General.
In her speech, Atty. Milla remarked, “The universal language is smile. Needless to say, this event promotes inclusivity.” Following the message of the Guest of Honor, was the showcasing of the different cultural dances of the participating countries, featuring this year was the Nigerian dance.
As part of the socialization program, international cuisines were served during the dinner. The ISIP 2019 was spearheaded was Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales, (Director, International Relations) and was facilitated by the Paulinian Student Government (PSG) officers.
