Caritas Christi urget nos!
More than 1000 residents of Poblacion, Baggao, Cagayan were given free medical, surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, EENT, and dental services during the free medical mission sponsored by GMA Kapuso foundation in partnership with SPUP-School of Medicine and St. Paul Hospital Tuguegarao on November 10, 2018. The whole-day activity was held at Antonio Pallagao Memorial Gymnasium.
Dr. Leon Caculitan (Faculty, School of Medicine) facilitated the said endeavor of extending free health services to the people of Baggao who were still recovering from the damages brought about by Typhoons Ompong and Rosita.
Faculty members of SPUP-School of Medicine and SPUP Alumni (specially the newly licensed Paulinian medical doctors) rendered their services through free health consultations. Medical technologists, pharmacists, optometrists, dentists, surgeons, nurses and medical students of School of Medicine also volunteered to the activity.
