The awarding of the 2017 Search for Outstanding Paulinian Students of the Philippines of the St. Paul University System (SPUS) was hosted by St. Paul University Philippines on February 9, 2018.

Awarded as 2017 Outstanding Paulinian Students of the Philippines were: Ms. Natirose Aumentado (SPU Quezon City); Ms. Reynalene Rose Ceynas (SPU Dumaquete ); Ms. Sarah Jane Macarubbo (SPU Philippines); Ms. Nica Dominique Ondoy (SPU Manila); and, Quennie Dawn Reso (SPU Dumaguete). They were recognized as students who best exemplify the Pauline values of Christ-centeredness, commission, charity, charism and community while being academically-excellent, leadership–proficient and socially-concerned.

Prior to the awarding ceremony, all Paulinian finalists traveled to Sta. Maria, Isabela for their batch formation that paved way for closer connection and collaboration among them, and to further inculcate to them the true sense of Paulinian leadership as a way of life.

Among the finalists from SPUP were: Nikko Jake Acain (BSPALM4), Maria Estrella Imperio (BSRT4) and Cheeni Mabbayad (BSSW4).
