During the course of the program, the participants undertook a series of hands-on activities in the fields of robotics; programming; data mining; image processing; computational science; graphics and animation. They were also immersed with Indonesian culture as they learned Coet-coetan (an Indonesian traditional dance); played gamelan instruments; designed personalized batik scarf; and fabricated wooden puppet and silver craft. They were also toured at Jogja Bay and strolled in the streets of Malioboro with their new-found friends from USD.

SPUP and Universitas of Sanata Dharma are both Catholic Universities. USD is administered by the Priests of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits); while SPUP by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres (SPC). The academic and cultural program is in fulfillment with the partnership between the two Higher Education Institutions. Moreover, it is also aligned with SPUP’s Internationalization initiatives along ASEAN integration.
