Ten Students enrolled in International Advanced Nursing Practicum of the PhD in Nursing Science Program had successfully completed their course requirement through an international practicum at Chang Jung Christian University (CJCU ) in Tainan County, Taiwan on April 1-15, 2017.
Together with Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C. Baua (Dean, School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, SPUP) and Dr. Anunciacion Talosig (Associate Dean, SPUP), the Paulinian students proceeded to their international academic engagement, benchmarking and research activities, after they were formally welcomed by Dr. Yung Sung-Lee (University President, CJCU).
Facilitated by Dr. Lee Jen Suen Wu (Dean, College of Nursing, CJCU), the said international exposure included engagement activities to specialty hospitals, community centers, heritage institutions and learning institutions in Tainan County such as Chi Mei Hospital, Chi Mei Museum, Jainan Psychiatric Center, Tainan Public Health Center, National Cheng Kung University, and Hospice and Elderly Care Center.
The international practicum fostered an opportunity for the Paulinian Students to engage in global health care, education and research.
