Caritas Christi urget nos!
Following their courtesy call to Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President) on March 30, 2017, SPUP formally welcomed 23 Indonesian Nursing Students from STIKES Sari Mulia Banjarmasin (Banjarmasin, Indonesia) as they begin their month-long immersion program in the University.
SPUP's College of Nursing is tasked to facilitate their academic and community immersion on cross cultural nursing, disaster nursing and related learning experiences (RLE) through hospital and community duty. On the other hand, the Intercultural Institute for Languages (IIL) is assigned to conduct sessions for their English language proficiency.
Accompanying the participants were Graduate School Students and a Clinical Instructor from the said Indonesian Educational Institution. The endeavor was a realization of the partnership between STIKES Sari Mulia Banjarmasin and SPUP.
