CF Awarded for Outreach Services

The Christian Formation Outreach Services was awarded Plaque of Appreciation from the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao, Saint Rose of Lima Parish, for its “fruitful collaboration to the efforts of the local Church in the task of evangelization.’’ The citation reads: “The Parish recognizes the labors and commendable achievements of the Christian Formation Outreach Services through the school-based catechetical instruction imparted to the pupils in the public schools from 2011 to 2017.”

His Excellency Most Reverend Sergio L. Utleg, D.D., Archbishop of Tuguegarao and Reverend Father Fredel Agatep, Parish Priest of St. Rose of Lima Parish, presented the plaque to Sr. Mercedes Bacaoco, SPC, Director of the Christian Formation together with Mr. Hollis Sibal, Head of the CF Outreach Services on February 25, 2017.

The Catechesis conducted by the fourth year college students under Rel. Ed. 108 - Social Teachings of the Church and Apostolate, provides praxis for the truths learned inside the class. The Campus Ministry takes charge of the liturgy and the Paulinian students and Religious Education teachers prepare the children for the reception of the First Holy Communion and Sacrament of Confirmation of the six public schools under the two parishes SPUP is serving.
